Safety & professional-help policy

Knowing when to stop is part of good home care.

Level & Latch is designed for preparation, product understanding, and limited beginner guidance—not for replacing qualified professional judgment.

Topics we can cover with care

Tool storage, buckets and absorbent materials, caulk-gun selection, basic hand tools, maintenance planners, and similar low-risk preparations may be appropriate for normal editorial review.

Topics that need extra review

Leak detectors, water shutoffs, ladders, emergency kits, and fire, smoke, or carbon-monoxide products require authoritative sources, prominent limitations, and product-specific safety checks before publication.

What we do not teach as beginner repair projects

Emergency reminder: when there is an immediate safety risk, follow local emergency guidance, shut off utilities only when it is safe to do so, and contact qualified help.
